Speak New York stores lesson progress, saved items, route choice, translator history, and streak state so the app can continue where you left off. Some of that information lives locally on your device, and some is handled by backend services that keep lessons, purchases, analytics, and diagnostics working.
Data We Store
Speak New York stores lesson progress, saved phrases, route selections, translator history, and streak-related state on your device so the experience feels continuous. Speak New York does not require an account for the iOS launch.
If you buy packs or Speak New York Pro, purchase and entitlement state are handled through RevenueCat and the App Store. We do not collect or store your full payment card information ourselves.
Diagnostics & Product Improvement
Speak New York uses Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, and Sentry to understand app reliability, feature usage, and diagnostic signals. These services help us identify broken flows, crashes, and stability issues so we can improve the app.
Speak New York does not use ad tracking domains and does not sell personal data.
