App licence

Second Take is licensed under Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. That agreement governs the licence to the app and its included materials. This page explains the app’s offering and practical limitations; it does not replace Apple’s standard agreement or limit rights provided by applicable law.

Educational practice

The app contains fictional workplace situations, authored dialogue, response choices, feedback, and learning guides. It is a place to rehearse possibilities. It does not predict another person’s reaction, evaluate your suitability for a job, or provide professional legal, employment, medical, or mental-health advice. You decide how to apply any wording in your own circumstances.

Use fictional details. Do not enter confidential information about your employer, colleagues, clients, or other people.

Free access and the Core Library

The first three lessons are available without a purchase. The Core Library is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase that unlocks access to the remaining lessons in the current 40-lesson library. Lessons follow a sequence: finish the current lesson to continue to the next one. A purchase does not skip that learning sequence. It is not an auto-renewing subscription. “Lifetime” access refers to this purchased entitlement, subject to Apple’s terms and continued app compatibility; it is not a promise of a particular period of updates or new content.

The current localized price appears in the app before purchase. Apple handles payment and purchase terms. Eligible purchases can be restored using the same Apple Account through Settings → Restore purchases. A refund or revoked transaction can remove paid access. Contact Apple through Report a Problem for refund requests.

Your saved work

Sessions and prep cards are stored locally on your iPhone or iPad and are excluded from backups. They are not synced to a Second Take account or iCloud. App deletion, device loss, or deletion under your retention choices can remove them. Restoring purchases restores eligible library access, not history. If you want a separate copy of a prep card, use the app’s copy or share action and choose a suitable destination.

Compatibility and external resources

The app requires iPhone with iOS 26 or later or iPad with iPadOS 26 or later. English is the current supported language. Guided scenarios and learning guides are bundled with the app; purchases, restoration, and external reading links require an internet connection. Third-party websites and services are governed by their own terms.

Privacy

The privacy policy describes local storage, purchase processing, analytics and diagnostics, and support correspondence. Analytics and diagnostics run automatically without in-app permission switches.
