How Hopsa handles progress, purchases, motion controls, and platform services.
Effective August 29, 2026
Hopsa requires no account, shows no ads, does not track you across apps or websites, and does not sell personal data.
Your best and most recent scores, collected-pierogi total, run count, language, control settings, tutorial progress, achievements, and selected character are stored locally on your device. Deleting Hopsa removes this local data.
Optional one-time purchases are processed by Apple. Hopsa uses RevenueCat to validate purchase receipts, restore access, prevent fraud, and understand aggregate purchase performance. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID and purchase history. Hopsa does not send RevenueCat your name, email address, or a custom account identifier.
Purchase information is used for app functionality and analytics. It is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking. Learn more in the RevenueCat Privacy Policy and Apple Privacy Policy.
If you enable tilt controls, Hopsa reads accelerometer data only while you play. Motion samples steer the character in real time; Hopsa does not store them or send them to the developer.
If you enable Game Center, Hopsa sends your best score and completed achievements to Apple and displays information supplied by Game Center. Game Center is optional, and you can play without it.
Hopsa may request Motion & Fitness access for tilt controls. It does not request access to your camera, microphone, photos, contacts, location, or advertising identifier.
This support website is delivered by GitHub Pages, which may process ordinary network information needed to serve a webpage. Website hosting is separate from the Hopsa app.
