The rules for using GlobeDuel and connected Apple services.
Overview
Effective 16 September 2026
GlobeDuel is licensed for personal entertainment on iPhone. By downloading or using the app, you agree to use it lawfully and in accordance with these terms and the Apple Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These notes do not limit rights you have under applicable consumer law.
Access and price
GlobeDuel is free to download. This version has no in-app purchases, subscriptions, or advertising. Features that use Apple Maps, Game Center, or SharePlay depend on Apple’s services, your Apple Account, network access, and regional availability.
Gameplay
Rounds use Apple Look Around imagery. Scores are based on the distance between your pin and the authored seed coordinate for that round, not a later street you may have walked to in the panorama. Missing or delayed imagery can skip a place or pause a round. Daily and weekly challenges are shared by calendar date; journey progress is stored only on the device that played it.
Live duels need a second player through Game Center or SharePlay. Casual duel results are not an official ranked rating. Do not cheat, tamper with the app, interfere with other players, or use it in a way that violates law or the rights of others.
Updates and support
Features and compatibility may change through app updates. Material changes to these terms will appear here with a new effective date. For bugs or legal questions, contact matteo.zajac@gmail.com.
